How we handle your details.

What happens to the information you send us through remanufactured.eu, who sees it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. There is no banner to dismiss, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and nothing that follows you to other sites. Every image, video and font is served from our own domain. The only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to type into the distributor form.

01Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is:

PSP SRL, trading as FACAR
Via Erasmo Piaggio, Lotto 28
66100 Chieti Scalo (CH), Italy
VAT 02553610698

For anything to do with your data, write to export@facar.it. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.

02What we collect

Only through the distributor enquiry form. There is no other way for this site to collect anything about you.

Browser identifierSent by your browser, recorded with the enquiry
Date and timeAdded by our server

We record the IP address and browser identifier to keep the form from being abused by automated spam, and to be able to investigate if it is. We also keep a short counter, keyed to a one-way hash of the IP address, that limits how many times the same visitor can submit the form in an hour.

Our hosting provider keeps its own server logs, in the ordinary way any web server does.

03Why, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry

If you write to us about becoming a distributor, we use your details to reply, to send you trade terms and to carry the conversation forward. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Where you write on behalf of a company rather than in your own name, we rely instead on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, Article 6(1)(f).

To keep the form working

The IP address, browser identifier and rate counter are used to prevent spam and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our own systems usable and secure, Article 6(1)(f).

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone. If we ever wanted to send you something you had not asked for, we would ask you first.

04Who else sees it

That is the entire list. Where our hosting provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted 12 months after our last exchange with you. If a business relationship starts, we keep what we need for as long as that relationship lasts, and afterwards for the periods Italian law requires us to keep commercial and tax records.

The anti-spam rate counter holds nothing but timestamps against a hashed IP address, and expires after one hour.

06Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

Write to export@facar.it and we will answer within one month. There is no charge. We may ask you something to confirm you are who you say you are, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.

07If you are not satisfied

You can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, or to the one where you live or work:

Garante per la protezione dei dati personali
Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, Italy
garante@gpdp.it · garanteprivacy.it

08Automated decisions

There are none. Nothing about you is decided by a machine, and we do not profile you.

09Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we will change this page and move the date at the top. If the change is significant and we still hold your details, we will tell you directly.
